About Us

All the staff employed at Mini-Me Childcare have been chosen for their enthusiasm and approach to childcare. We attract good quality staff to ensure the care provided remains consistent throughout your child’s time with us!

All adults (16yrs and over) working on the premises or with the children are fully vetted through Disclosure and Barring Service. We attend relevant training to develop our skills, learn new ones and keep up to date with all the latest legislations ensuring that we carry on providing the highest standard of care.

Every child is assigned a key worker who monitors their progress and maintains development records allowing us to plan and tailor activities to each child’s individual needs.

Assistants

Depending on the number of children in each day, I employ assistants to help in caring and supporting the children. My assistants are mostly qualified to Level 3 in Childcare with the exception of students, who work with us, working on their Level 2.  

Assistants work in line with the Early Years Foundation and current relevant legislations and guidelines.

All assistants are not only vetted with Ofsted by DBS checks but have suitable qualifications or are working towards qualifications in childcare. This information is kept on file so if you’d like to know more about the staff or their qualifications then please ask.

Sarah Bailey-Gough

Owner / Childminder

"I’m currently registered with Ofsted as a Childminder. I created Mini-Me childcare to provide a high quality day care with education and fun playtime for children mainly aged 0-4yrs, but also offering school wrap around and holiday care for children up to 16yrs of age.

I had worked in the construction industry for 11 years but took the decision to change my career and re-train in 2011; my eldest daughter was reaching school age, and I wanted my job to work round my children not the other way round.

I completed my City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma – Children and Young People’s Workforce in March 2012 while volunteering at Oakhill Nursery in Featherstone. I was able to gain knowledge and experience in providing childcare with some great practitioners and children".

With any spare time I get I spend it with my family and friends and try fit in some of my loves such as Motorbikes and cars!!

“Hi my name is Jess, and have been working in childcare for over 7 years. During my time so far I have been lucky enough to work one to one with a child needing additional support, which I loved and found very rewarding. I also been a room leader at a local nursery which gave me experience and confidence to take on the role at Mini-Me Childcare”.

When Jess isn’t working for Mini-Me Childcare, you’ll find her shopping or spending time with family and friends!

Jess has been with Mini-Me Childcare since February 2012.

Toria joined us in October 2015 and is working towards her Children and Young people Level 3 Childcare Course.
